Somerville, Massachusetts is a small suburb of the city of Boston just two miles north of the city limits. Only occupying slightly over 4 square miles and a population of approximately 82,000 residents this small city is the most densely populated and most ethnically diverse cities in New England. Somerville is rich in both history and culture and is home to numerous restaurants of every cuisine, intriguing sites and historical landmarks and preservations. With Somerville’s diverse community it makes it a very vibrant and eclectic place to call home. The city is defined by its city squares, five squares in total – Davis Square, Union Square, Ball Square, Teele Square and Magoun Square. Each offers a mix of different shops, ethnic restaurants, and local businesses to fit a wide variety of tastes and occasions. This small city is also home to one of the highest number of artists per capita (right behind New York City) making this city a very vibrant and exciting art center. With this city being so close to Boston it’s a short commute to Logan International Airport, making travel to other parts of the county and the world a little easier.
