Your Guide to Buying a Home
THE SUPPORT YOU NEED
Buy a Home with Verani
Finding and buying a home is a very personal process that works best when your objectives, priorities, and needs are met. While our role will involve economic analysis, strong negotiations, and addressing dozens of details around the closing process, our primary role is to support you as we seek to fulfill your real estate goals.
Choosing the Right REALTOR® for You:
When buying a home, consider the following questions when choosing your potential REALTOR®. It will help set expectations and determine if it will be a good fit for your unique homebuying experience.
- How available are you if I need to contact you?
- What method of communication will work best for us – text, email, phone call?
- Do you or your brokerage have local market knowledge and experience in the area where I’m looking to buy?
- What type of systems do you (or your company) have to make the home search easier?
- Do you have any connections to other home vendors, such as mortgage lenders, title services, or relocation assistance?
- Can you provide me with a home buying guide to review?
RESOURCES
Choices in Agency Relationships
*definitions provided from New Hampshire real estate law
Buyer's Agent
The Buyer’s Agent represents the buyer during the home buying process—from offering loyalty and confidentiality to locating properties and negotiating a transaction suitable to the buyer’s specific needs.
Seller's Agent
The Seller’s Agent represents the seller during the home selling process—from offering loyalty and confidentiality to assisting the seller in locating a buyer and negotiating a transaction suitable to the seller’s specific needs.
Disclosed Dual Agent
The Disclosed Dual Agent represents the interest of both the buyer and the seller, during the same transaction and must act in the best interests of both parties.
Facilitator
In a facilitator relationship, the real estate professional can perform only certain acts, such as showing the customer houses that are available. In this facilitator relationship, the real estate professional will not be acting on anyone’s behalf and you are a customer of the real estate professional, not a client.
