Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty Donates $3,000 to Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire

Londonderry, NH - 08, 13, 2019 - Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty’s philanthropic arm, VeraniCARES, has recently donated $3,000 to benefit Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire, a local non-profit organization.

Since 2001, Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire has worked tirelessly to provide families experiencing homelessness the opportunity, education, and the tools they need to achieve sustainable independence. Pamela Wellman, the Executive Director of Family Promise, stated “Families stay with us up to a year, and in that time frame we help them with financial literacy and getting back on their feet. We help them with their career search, resume building, and a big piece of what we do, because our families are average working families, we help them get back to school to finish that certification, or finish that college degree. With the help of Family Promise, 50% of our families are able to afford a home at the end of our program.”  

Verani Realty has always had a strong commitment and passion to helping better the community and the lives of the people in it. In December of 2015 VeraniCARES was founded to further that mission. Since then, over $250,000 has been donated to more than 50 local charities and organizations in New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts. VeraniCARES quickly became a dominant part of the company’s identity, with agents and staff alike donating their time and energy by participating in the many volunteer and fundraising events throughout the year. Many Verani Realty agents donate a portion of their commission to VeraniCARES which is matched by Verani Realty.
