VeraniCARES About MPAL - Manchester Police Athletic League

Recently our VeraniCARES team had the opportunity to visit with MPAL Program Director, Officer John Levasseur, and present him with a donation of $3000.00 to help support the organization’s mission.

MPAL is a non-profit youth center in Manchester, NH that builds relationships between local police and kids through athletic, academic, and recreational programs. MPAL offers strength training, boxing, wrestling, gaming, homework assistance, and consumer science classes; but most importantly they provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and collaborate with each other and community officers.

It was inspiring speaking with Officer Levasseur about the challenges kids in the program may be facing, as well as the success stories of some of those who have since left MPAL and went on to accomplish the goals they set for themselves while in the program.
