Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty presented with the NH CIBOR Award

Tom Duffy and Michael Charron from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty Commercial Division were presented with the NH CIBOR 2015 Residential Investment Deal of the Year Award on June 6, 2016 at the NH CIBOR Second Annual New Hampshire Commercial Real Estate Awards banquet, held at the Puritan Backroom in Manchester, NH. This event honors the achievements from 2015 of the individuals and corporations that have an impact on real estate, community improvement and economic development in the state.  Presenting the award to Mr. Duffy and Mr. Charron was Bryan Joyce and Keith Martine from Universal Capital.

This award acknowledges the successful sale of two major assets in Manchester, NH, a 108-unit multi-family building known as Carrisbrooke at Manchester Apartments which sold for $12.150M and a multi-building portfolio consisting of 163 total units known as The Riverside Trust portfolio which sold for $11.125M. Both sales are “proof of the strong appetite institutional investors have for well-located suburban multifamily properties north of Boston” noted Duffy. “Most analyst across the country have noted that this sector is overvalued in the primary areas, as a result investors are seeking higher yields and lower risk in secondary and tertiary markets like New Hampshire” noted Charron. Their many years of experience combined with their longstanding relationships with investors allowed them to market and close the asset professionally and with confidentiality.

The NH CIBOR Second Annual New Hampshire Awards ceremony is also a fundraising event for NHCIBOR Cares as a 501c3 organization, the awards recipients are able to designate a portion of the funds raised to the 501c3 organization of their choice.
