About Sarah
A New Hampshire native, Sarah grew up in small-town, rural New Hampshire. She believes settling down and making a home in a place you don't need a vacation from is the key to happiness. Sarah embraces the rural lifestyle, and in her spare time you can find her at the lake, in the mountains, or at her family's farm.
In her younger years, Sarah was an active 4-H member. Sarah began showing cattle at local and regional fairs and now continues to exhibit at the national level. Sarah graduated from Mascoma Valley Regional High School in 2010. In post-secondary education, Sarah studied a diverse array of subject matters including Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Business, Advertising, Marketing, and Communications. She received her Bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University in 2014, and a Master's degree in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University in 2017.
Her main take-away from her studies in marketing, advertising, and communications being that while good photography, design, and branding is important, it's even more important to do the proper research, understand who the consumer or client is, and be relatable! In addition to running her own freelance graphic design and marketing business for the past five years, Sarah has worked in two in-house marketing departments. Sarah has a passion for helping small, rural companies and communities tell their stories and she’s excited to have everything come full-circle and be back in New Hampshire working on her family’s farm and marketing real estate!
Sarah has lived in seven other states besides, New Hampshire, including South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Wyoming. While Sarah believes every place she has lived has its charm, she feels New Hampshire is truly a special place. From the Seacoast, to the Lakes Region, the fertile hillside farm-land, the beautiful White Mountains, and the Great North Woods, the diverse geography of our state creates limitless opportunities for a near perfect life.
