Testimonials

Carter was professional and communicative through the whole process. He also went the extra mile on several occasions when we were away from home and something needed to be done to keep things moving. Everything went extremely smoothly with our sale and we couldn’t be happier with the service Carter provided.

Carter assisted our family in finding affordable housing from out of state with a very limited time line. He is incredibly professional and knowledgeable about housing in the Upper Valley area. He made a stressful process manageable by touring properties for us and talking within his network to find properties that would “work” for us. He was a great communicator with us and also with sellers when it came time to negotiate. We couldn’t be more pleased with his services.

Carter was incredibly pleasant and wonderful to work with. His attention to detail with what we were looking for was on point. Very friendly, would highly recommend.

Carter did a great job considering the sale was just an undeveloped lot.

Carter was a fantastic asset to our search for our first home. Throughout the process he was so much more than an agent. He was our advocate, ally, and support. We highly recommend Carter to anyone looking to navigate the difficult waters of real estate for the first time. Five stars.

Carter was so authentic, connected and knowledgable about the market, the home, the humans, and the area. He sensed my connection to the magic of the property and thoughtfully articulated the owner’s hope that someone would also see it’s appeal. All throughout, Carter made sound recommendations, offered his thoughts and genuinely cared about the home and the people on both sides of the transaction. He represented both buyer and seller and was appropriate and boundaried but also made sure we were together to meet at the closing- he just knew connecting buyer and seller in this special circumstance would make each of our days. It was a truly joyful experience, from start to finish. I am grateful for Carter’s kind and careful approach, this was a new experience for me and he made sure I felt confident and sound at each phase in the process.

Carter was a work horse, especially in the end game. He demonstrated an aptitude regarding solid knowledge of real estate processes. Charter is young and could do well with some humility. On the outset of filling out the listing, my wife and I had to uncomfortably argue for sometime regarding listing price. To the tune of feeling pretty pressured and made to feel a bit ridiculed. Thank goodness we did not drop listing by the 100,000 he firmly suggested we drop it by, as 3 minutes into open house the buyer walked through the door offering asking price. Charter would do well to know the home he is selling. Telling potential buyers we heat with oil, when it was gas, telling them we had electric fireplaces when they too were gas, was not ideal. telling them that the semi private-public beach and road maintenance is the only thing the HOA dues cover and omitting that it’s a members only beach, the reservable beach house for functions, members only tennis and basketball courts, members only marina and boat launch, all were left out when describing the home. Carter’s personality is not that of someone who is on your side or personable, but he knows the red tape in and out and works it well. However, when we denied to comply with one of the exact demands of the buyer and Carter’s responded stating “okay I’ll tell them and I’ll put your house back on the market.”, We should not have to feel like we are playing the negotiation game with the really representative to us. We should not have to insist that it’s not black and white, and come up with an alternate offer to bring back to the potential buyer. The client should never feel they are being sales-played by their own rep, it destroys trust and relationship during a very stressful and important negotiation. Over all Berkshire did great and the end result was satisfactory… though it almost happened for 100,000 less and some humbleness could do the agent well. Again he is young to both life and real estate, with time and willingness to engage in some reflective insight, Carter has the potential to be a powerhouse.
