I was Born and raised in Laconia in a house on Shore Dr., which had a private community beach on Lake Winnisquam and where I learned to water ski. Growing up in such a beautiful area my thirst for outdoor sports grew and I learned to downhill ski, snow-mobile, motorcycle and obtained my boaters license. I even took to the skies and tried my hand at flying lessons out of Laconia airport, but moved to Reading, MA for my engineering career and never took it up again. In my late twenties, I met and married my beautiful wife of over 35 years, we raised three daughters together in the town of Bow. Even though we moved to Bow to be closer to my work, I wanted to show my family the area I love and we constantly came up to camp, boat on Lake Winnipesaukee, or ski at Gunstock Mountain over the years.
When I was about twenty-one I got my first taste of the Real Estate business and bought my first apartment house. Over my 63 years I have bought, built, and sold over eight properties. I first got my first Real Estate License in the early 80’s, but wanted to pursue a career in electronics. I went on to pursue my first career dream in electronics and attended the Microwave Technical Institute in MA, to study Advance Microwave Theory in RF, (radio frequencies), and electronics. I started my electronics career at Wang, then to Alpha Industries, (now Skyworks), as an Engineering Assistant for a semiconductor applications Engineer. Moved on to Microwave Associates and I eventually landed at BAE, as a Senior RF Engineer in Technical Operations group in Nashua NH. After years of working full time and studying, in my 50’s I finished my Associate’s Degree from Granite State College in General studies, part of the University of New Hampshire system.
After all 3 of my daughters graduated from Bow High School, my wife and I wanted to return to the beauty of the lakes region, where we met, and where I grew up. Looking to retire from my first career dream in Electronics, I wanted to return to my roots and get back into Real Estate. My late parents both held a Brokers license, Peter “Beau” Lessard and Elizabeth Jean “Betty Jean” Lessard. I have joined Verani BHHS real estate in Belmont as they are the best in the area. Hands down it is hard to find a better place to live, work, vacation, raise a family, and retire to than the lakes region. I am a family man that has a vast knowledge of the Lakes Region Area, combined that with my engineering background and Real Estate License I am hopeful that I can find you that special place to fit your families needs. I look forward to working with you in the future!
